You don't need to remodel your home to get heated floors with STEP Warmfloor

If you want heated floors but don't want to remodel your entire home, you can still get the comfort you want with STEP Warmfloor's staple-up application.

Most people think they need to build a new home or be in the midst of a complete remodel to have an underfloor heating system installed, but this is not the case. With STEP Warmfloor, you can easily add in-floor heat to your home by stapling the product up into your floor joists from the room below if it’s unfinished. STEP Warmfloor elements installed in floor joists

Staple-up floor-heating applications heat the floor that is above the joist. It is typically installed in basements and crawlspaces to heat the rooms above. Houses that are built with floor joists, floor trusses, or I-joists have a space between the floor suspension systems supporting the subfloor. It is this underfloor space that will allow the installation of our STEP Warmfloor system, which in turn will provide an underfloor heated surface to keep you warm and cozy.

In the picture shown, we see the STEP Warmfloor product stapled up to the underside of the subfloor, between the floor joists. These elements will warm up the subfloor and the flooring material that is above. When you step, sit, or lay down on this floor, you will experience the warmth that it provides.
